Head of Design

As the founding designer for a growth platform built to help teams run experiments, track key metrics, and share insights, I was responsible for setting the overall design vision and building the design system from the ground up. I developed accessible, scalable component libraries that enhanced engineering efficiency and supported the team’s rapid scaling, while building robust feature sets that delivered a seamless, responsive user experience across the platform. I also played a key role in shaping product strategy, partnering closely with leadership to align design direction with business goals. In addition to product design, I collaborated with Marketing to design and maintain the company website and email communications, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.

Product Design

I contributed to defining the product’s vision and roadmap, ensuring design was embedded in key product and business decisions. I focused on building consistent, visually engaging interfaces that enhanced usability and aligned with the brand. I also developed scalable design systems and component libraries to support rapid growth and accessibility, while growing and mentoring the design team to meet the expanding demands of the product.

Brand Identity and Marketing Collateral

I establish the startup's visual identity, including logos, colour schemes, typography, and other brand assets. I was also responsible for building, testing, and maintaining our website which included the design of marketing materials, website assets, and promotional content that created a cohesive brand presence. I also managed our email communications for marketing updates and account interactions.

Prototyping

I created interactive prototypes to demonstrate functionality and gather early feedback while the engineering team setup the backend. I was able to quickly iterate on these designs in response to changing requirements and user insights, to continuously improve and adapt the product as we explored market fit. Additionally, I accelerated our engineering processes by incorporating essential technical parameters and implementation details, ensuring a smoother transition from concept to execution.
